Invisible vellum adhesive, Vellum techniques in cards, Vellum stickers

This post is for the Waffle Flower Vellum Challenge. I make three cards designs and five cards. I use alcohol markers and alcohol inks with double sided adhesive sheets to essentially create a vellum sticker. The main products I use are as follows:

Waffle Flower Tender Blooms

Waffle Flower Bouquet Builder 7 Combo

Waffle Flower Oversized Hello Combo

Waffle Flower Oversized Hope Combo

Waffle Flower Sentiments Addition Combo

Waffle Flower Modern Neutrals Paper Pad

Watch video below to see how I created five cards with vellum - three designs, where the second and third designs I create two cards at the same time.

How Are You?

Stamp Waffle Flower Tender Blooms on Vellum with VERSAMARK Ink and sprinkle with RANGER Super Fine White Embossing powder and heat embossing powder with WOW heating embossing tool at setting #1.

Colour with ALTENEW Acohol Markers on the back of the vellum. Adhere coloured vellum with SCRAPBOOK.COM Double Sided Adhesive Sheets to make a ‘vellum sticker’.

Cover the A2 card base with a patterned paper from Waffle Flower Modern Neutrals Paper Pad with Double sided tape.

Add gems to flower centres from Lucy’s Things - these are tiny gems that I had purchased a long time ago and not currently available, but similar gems are available.

From Us

Stamp Waffle Flower Bouquet Builder 7 Combo on Vellum using a MISTI Stamping tool. Especially on vellum which has a very smooth and slippery surface it is good to use a stamping tool as stamping with an arylic block causes slippage and unclear images. Then sprinkle stamped image with RANGER Clear embossing powder and heat with WOW heating embossing tool.

Flip vellum and colour with RANGER Alcohol Inks with the aid of RANGER Mini Applicator Tool with felt and RANGER Blending Solution.

Die cut images with coordinating dies from Waffle Flower Bouquet Builder 7 Combo and voila you have vellum stickers!

Adhere chosen patterned paper from Waffle Flower Modern Neutrals Paper Pad, cut to size and adhere to front of A2 card base.

Arrange the flowers and leaves into and arrangement that you are happy with and adhere to card front.

Stamp Waffle Flower Sentiments Addition Combo with VERSAMARK Ink and sprinkle RANGER Super Fine White Embossing powder on stamped sentiment and heat emboss with WOW heating embossing tool. Die cut sentiment using the Waffle Flower Sentiments Addition Combo, coordinating die. Die cut three additional dies cuts to layer stamped sentiment to provide dimension and adhere with ART GLITTER Glue with metal fine tip.

Adhere gems from Lucy’s things - Crystal Collection Sweet Pea and Harmony - at the centre of the flowers.

The ‘thank you’ card follows the same steps as this to assemble.

Hello

Cover Vellum with RANGER Alcohol Inks using RANGER Mini Applicator Tool with felt. Rub THERMOWEB Gold Foil just before alcohol ink completely dries to get a subtle gold shine. Die cut ‘Hello’ with die from Waffle Flower Oversized Hello Combo in two colours and adhere in an offset style on card front. Stamp sentiment from same stamp set with VERSAMARK Ink and sprinkle RANGER Super Fine White Embossing powder on black cardstock and heat with WOW heating embossing tool. Adhere secondary sentiment with Strips of Foam adhesive.

The ‘hope’ card follows the same steps as this to assemble.
