Altenew Woven Heart
Hello and happy new year to all of you. Welcome to my brand-new blog, Angela Brennan Creations. All of this is new to me and I am learning so much as I come to grips with blogging, videos, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram. My husband and younger son are helping me out with all the tech aspects of being online.
Please note that I have been a craft hoarder for many years but not had a chance to use a lot of my supplies (due to my full time job) but the current situation has afforded me more time to devote to craft, hence this blog. So some of the items I use are old and are what I already have in my stash. As such some of the links below are alternative suggestions as the items I used may no longer be available. You can also use whatever you have in your craft stock to create - always try to use what you already have in your stash first!

Cards with one woven heart
For the above cards, I used one woven heart (please see video for easy method to create the weave and inlay the intricate design on the curved tops of the hear).
First card (red & white heart): I used a scoring tool to create the embossed rectangle for the cards' subtle border. Stamped the sentiment from Stampendous Clear Stamps FROM MY HEART with Versamark ink, sprinkled some embossing powder and heat embossed. The generic sentiment on the front allows the card to be sent for a birthday, get well soon, hello etc - so quite versatile.
Second card (pink heart): Addition here are the leaves that I die cut from three shades of grey card stock. I am unsure of the dies I used (as I have stored them in themes without taking note of the product manufacturers) - best is to use the dies that you already have in your collection. I have also suggested some leaf dies below, if you are interested. I also added pink fun foam behind the heart to give it some dimension, so it's propped up above the leaves.
Third card (grey heart): Addition in this card is the layered die cut flowers from Altenew Rose Flurries 3D Die Set and the sentiment is from Simon Says Clear Stamps TINY WORDS which is cut out using the Whimsy Stamps QUICK STRIPS Dies.

Cards with multiple woven hearts
All of the cards use five woven hearts to create a star shape which lends to the sentiment I added on two of the cards. I used all of the cardstock that i already had in my stash - I'm sure you are have card scraps that can be used. If not, I have added a couple of suggestions for card combos that will provide a variety of coloured cardstock.
First card (pink, peach & grey hearts): Sentiment 'Congrats on your accomplishments!' is from Altenew BUILD A FLOWER COLUMBINE Clear Stamp
Second card (pastel and grey hearts): Sentiment 'You're the star of my heart' was created using Concord & 9th Perfectly Penned Stamp
Third card (red & white hearts): Sentiment 'You're the star of my heart' was printed on Neenah Classic Crest 80 LB SMOOTH SOLAR WHITE using the font, Source Sans Pro Black and die cut with Whimsy Stamps QUICK STRIPS Dies

Cards with no woven heart - Easter themed
These cards do not need the woven heart element, just the semi-circle die to form an intircate Easter egg.
First card: This was shown in the video where the colourful background seen through the die cut on the front of the card was a watercolour wash with Mijello MISSION GOLD WATER COLOR PALETTE SET 36 Colors. Any watercolour or colouring tool could be used for this colour wash.
Second card: the background seen through the die cut are strips of coloured cardstock using PinkFresh Studio Slim Stripes Essentials Die Set. If you do not have this die, you can also manually cut the cardstock with your cutter or ruler & craft knife.
Third card: The cardstock strips behind the die cut on the front of the card was done same as the second card. The yellow frame was die cut using Simon Says Stamp A2 Thin Frames Wafer Dies. The smaller card panels for the second card (blue) and third card (ivory) was die cut using the Waffle Flower A2 Layers Dies.
