Not a card - a fan!

This post is for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge which themed Not A Card. Initially I was going to make a cross stitch bookmark. However while looking for something else, I stumbled aross a couple of very old Creative Expression stamps to make two fans. These stamps are more than 10 years old and are no longer available. So I have linked to a couple of similar stamps below.

Nine stamped panels are required for each of the fans I made. The first fan, I stamped with Versamark Onyx Black ink and coloured with Prismcolor pencils. The second fan I stamped with Versamark Clear ink and sprinkled with gold embossing powder and heat embossed with my WOW heating tool. I coloured the panel with Twinkling H20 paints. The colours I used are Autumn Skies, Teal Zircon, Moss Green, Blue Grass, Oyster White, Orange Peel, Sunflower, Key Lime and Periwinkle. I love the iridescent and shimmery look of these paints.

Paint Brushes used are a #2/0 detailed brush, #2 round brush and #6 round brush for the various areas painted on each of the panels.

Here are a couple of Creative Expression stamps that can also be used for this project - The Danbury and The Amherst.

Below is a video of how I created these fans. (to be uploaded soon)
