Waffle Flower Nov 2021 Challenge - Christmas Cards
This post shows three cards that I make for the Waffle Flower November 2021 Challenge, Most Wonderful Time. I am so excited to have been invited to be a guest designer for the fourth week of the challenge which is hosted by Arjita Sepaha Singh. The sub-theme for the fourth week is Cards to service people (hair dresser, cashier at your grocery store, mailman...). The stamp and die set that came to mind when I saw this challenge is the Waffle Flower Frontline Heroes 3 combo which I got as a bundle when I subscribed to the mystery box from SImon Says Stamp when there was a drive to support Huntington’s Disease.
I was asked to make one card but ended up making three cards as I made these cards with specific individuals in mind - the guy who delivers most of my online packages (as retail therapy has gripped me since the start of the pandemic, especially craft products as that’s how I have coped with these unprecedented times); the young boy who delivers my sons’ pizzas on a Friday (we have indulged them due to the prolonged online schooling); and lastly the sweet lady at the Tesco checkout near my home. These workers have not been given the recognition due to them but have been so paramount in our lives as they have been out there serving the public all these months that I (and many others) have been working from home.
Do join the Waffle Flower November 2021 Challenge, Most Wonderful Time and do tag your projects with #WFChallenge2111 when you share them on Facebook, Instagram, or any social media platform.
Do check out the video below to how I created these cards.
Card #1 - Wonderful Time
Card #2 - Merry Christmas
Card #3 - Joy
