Shaker card with a twist
This post shows how I use the Concord & 9th Perfect Pairings Birthday dies to make a birthday card for a special girl named Bronwyn who turns ten on 9th December. It was a little tricky to make a shaker card with this bunch of balloons die as the die cut lines are very thin - fun foam or foam tape will not do. So I decided to think outside the box and made a shaker well with many many layers of die cuts adhered together. This will provide the depth to make the ‘open’ balloon shapes conducive for shaker embellishments.

Scrapbook.com - 4” double sided adhesive tape
Scrapbook.com - 1/4” double sided adhesive tape
Transparency film or acetate (for the shaker front)
Spellbinders Large Die of the Month June 2021, Colorblock Stripes die (used to cut the 1/4” strips for the card background)
